My artworks are unplanned, impulsive, and spontaneous, evolving from an awareness around me of color, light, subtle texture, lines. Line has become a physical, dimensional element, emerging from the color fields. These works are very much about the subtle interaction between the field of color, direction of natural or artificial light, and the physical lines formed when gravity acts upon media. There is no doubt that they are an extension of my past, present, future.
